Micahel Kors’ Fall 2012 collection put glamorous spins on classic items. Kors concentrated on the cozy can be sexy mantra with a focus on Hollywood-style lodging. Bold reds combined with black buffalo checks and plaid strutted down the runway.
Fur played a major part of this collection. Putting my pro-faux feelings aside, I must admit that these enormous bear-like coats are beautiful. The attention to detail in the fur coats, mittens, booties and bags represent Michael Kors dedication to what women want.
Perfect for cuddling up in the colder months are the capes and ponchos. Plenty of tailoring also caught my eye with this collection. For the most polished city attire, mid-calf length A-line skirts and lace skirts were paired with chunky sweaters and sleeveless pea coats. A suit made up of a black capelet jacket paired with a matching pencil skirt was also an attention grabber. Sparkly gowns and big furry bags lent just the right amount of decadent drama to this collection.
